future?
Approach: J Dilla. He's the greatest of all-time. He is the Ali of production. The man is a very, very gifted musician.
MVRemix: What are the 3 best things about living in Kansas?
Approach: The weather, the people, and the music. The weather because we get all 4 seasons. The people because the honest and hard working. The music because it's so diverse. It's hella original.
MVRemix: What was your childhood like? What kid of kid were you?
Approach: I was a sports cat. A funny kid who loved the Kansas City Chiefs and the Chicago Bulls. A music lover from the beginning!
MVRemix: What was the lowest or dirtiest thing you ever did for money?
Approach: No comment!
MVRemix: What has been in your CD player or on your turntable recently?
Approach: Mos Def man! That brother is just amazing to me. I can't get enough. The Hieroglyphics are always in my CD player. They never ever come out.
MVRemix: What was the last incident of racism you experienced?
Approach: Once a week, I get a stared at or someone grabs their purse or their child and pulls them to the other side. I live in Kansas, man. It's hella cool and open-minded but it still has a lot of developing left to do.
MVRemix: Abortion - pro-choice or pro-life?
Approach: Pro-life but the decision is up to the couple and the situation.
MVRemix: Death Penalty - For or against?
Approach: It varies. I am not God or God-like, so I can't put a value on another’s life.
MVRemix: Where were you on Sept. 11th (The World Trade Center Terrorist Attack)? How did you deal with it? How do you think it has affected music?
Approach: I was asleep at my Mom’s house. I was shocked and really uneasy. It's all Karma, so it made me stay focused and keep the positive messages coming. I have always believed that when someone is at the most comfortable point, it's the best time to strike. So, I always have my eyes and ears open.
MVRemix: What collaboration are you most proud of?
Approach: Any and everything I do with Mac Lethal. It just comes so naturally and we vibe very well.
MVRemix: Some people label you as an old-school rapper? What do you think of that?
Approach: I am just a reflection of what I think is fly. They can call it whatever they please but trust me, I will surprise you!

Approach: Being lazy. I was to patient for awhile but I have it under control now.
MVRemix: How are European audiences different from U.S. audiences?
Approach: They give you a chance to prove yourself. They’re more open to new acts and have less stigmas about progressive music.
MVRemix: What are some major misconceptions that people have of you?
Approach: That all I do is funk music. It's just one small piece of the puzzle.

Approach: Runnin' by The Pharcyde.
