When it comes to deejaying, the only people really comparable with the Invisibl Skratch Piklz are the X-Ecutioners. So I was quite expectant when I first received Invisibl Skratch Pikl Mixmaster Mike's solo LP, 'Anti-Theft Device'. Luckily, I wasn't disappointed. The beats, scratches and samples fit together well, and sound good. The way Mike puts them all together makes it sound easy, although if it was this LP wouldn't be as good.

From the first track to the last, this is pure scratching magic, and if you are a fan of this style of hip-hop then you should definitely pick up 'Anti-Theft Device'. It contains the previously released 'Vyce Gripp,' which along with 'Well Wicked' are my two favourite tracks. 'Vyce Gripp' was released in May and contains a sample of the Wu-Tang Clans very own Method Man saying "Competition come and get some."

All the tracks manage to fit together nicely while Mixmaster Mike shows off his scratching skills. His ability to obtain great tracks from scratching and sampling shows that 'Anti-Theft Device' is well worth buying. This (in my mind) is the best work to come out of the Invisbl Skratch Piklz camp.
