Iceman Records presents the 12” single “It’s A Wrap”, where Harlem emcee Backdraft and his northern counterpart Versatile exchange hungry verses and flip grimy street tales over a bumping beat and soulful background vocal sample. While neither exhibits a punchline-metaphor-simile heavy lyrical escapade, each comes correct in their own right, as the duo flip a mean effort that sounds more Roc-A-Fella than even Roc-A-Fella does nowadays.
